MIA ~ Compensators
Compensators are a must have addition to your lash lifting bag of tricks!
Why??
They help to secure the lashes on the shield to prevent them from popping off. Which we all know is SUPER important during step two. This is when all the disulphides bonds within the hair are getting restored, which sets the lashes in their new position.
The super soft, super flexible silicone adapts to nearly all shield and rod shapes.
Personally I recommend:
A fun colour for step 1, perfect for fun content photos.
A clear set for step 2, this is so you can see that all the hairs are exactly where you want them as they are setting in place.
A black or dark coloured set for tinting, whey do you need a set whilst tinting you ask??? This is because, if step 2 has not fully restored all the disulphides bonds within the hair, the tinting phase will continue to do so.
I will never again perform a lift without 3 pairs of compensators.
